Brown Manor
The Home for the homeless

Brown Manor is a place where people who are lost, left out, and lonely can find a safe place to restore their lives. As a survivor of childhood trauma, abuse, substance use, and past incarcerations, I have experienced how vital it is for someone to have a safe place of rehabilitation. From being homeless for 23 years to having a reason to live, I felt a strong desire to give back to those who are just like I was. I have been on the streets and want to offer a hand up to those who want something more than just a handout.
I was blessed with employment and have donated all of my resources to purchase Brown Manor. Now I am asking for your help. The house is being restored, just as my life has been. Currently, roofing, heating, plumbing, and other construction issues are needed. This house was abandoned when I purchased it, sort of like my life was when I was found. I have written a book about my life to help support this cause but I cannot do this alone, I would also like to have the world community be part of this.
At one point in life, I had given up, but now I have been given a purpose. I want Brown Manor to be about all of us who believe that each life matters. Each donation would be your part of giving someone else the gift that I have found; this gift is called Hope.

I have heard from different states that the homeless problem is not diminishing. For years I have examined this and have been working on a viable solution that could change the trajectory of this situation. My name is Anthony Brown and I have met with several senators, mayors, and county officials who all say that same thing. “Yes, we want help, but no we don’t have the resources to help you”. When I hear things like this, I get motivated to get into action.
I took it as a challenge and now have this model that I created that is called Brown Manor. It is a five-phase cognitive-based peer support system. I have all the material to make this a reality and now I have purchased this building as you will see included with this letter. All I need is to fundraise to help offset the cost of repairing this structure. I have included a virtual walkthrough and “tags” where we have initiated the adopt a room campaign. Come take a look and be part of what we do. It takes a village to change the world.
