From Park Bench to Park Avenue

Anthony Brown’s dramatic life story as a homeless man has led him to many dark and often dangerous places. All of the proceeds from From Park Bench to Park Avenue will be used to transform a historic home into Brown Manor – a place of recovery, where individuals can begin a new journey, alcohol and drug free; a place that offers a hand up, not a hand out.

A story of how a lost person found his way home

Millions of Americans experience homelessness each year and is a worldwide epidemic that deprives people of basic needs such as food, water, shelter clothing, healthcare, and social inclusion Although there is no universally accepted description of homelessness, there are various definitions floating about.

This booklet to inspire conversation and can be used in schools, churches, treatment organizations, or the individual. All of us can do our part and we believe that One Light Does Make a Difference.
